I started my first business from my university bedroom with no plan, no network and honestly no idea what I was doing. I’d run out of money and needed a plan, so I started a phone unlocking business (which was legal… I was studying Law at the time!).

It took me years, and a fair amount of getting it wrong, to work out what actually makes an online business work, but by the time I graduated from university my business was generating over $10K a month.

Since then I've built the Female Entrepreneur Association, written a bestselling book (She Means Business), built a luxury stationery brand, Carrie & Co., spoken on stages all over the world, including TEDx and on stages alongside Tony Robbins & Dean Graziosi, and had the absolute joy of helping over 40,000 women around the world build businesses they love.

The last decade or so I’ve spent in the trenches with those women. First idea, first sale, first $10K month, first seven figures. When you get to watch that many businesses up close, you start to see the patterns very clearly, both where things get stuck and what shifts them.
